Damn, are you ignorant or what? You is WRONG. Americans can't be knighted because the Constitution bans it because we were trying toa void aristocracy like the plague. But anyone can be knighted, and they don't have to be knighted by the Brits.
Oh, and Man, sorry, but I have a very liberal interpretation of "American." The Swiss girl in one of my classes last year was highly insulted. "You're American." "No I'm not, I'm going back next year!" "Too bad. For now, you're American. Congrats."
And Angel, if that's true then I'm going to have to go get a new OS. Americans cannot be knighted, be-titled, or anything else. "honorary" [spits in disgust]. Just a way of getting around the Constitution.
Not that it's an important part of the constitution, and not that any knighting actually means anything, but still, we oughter stick to our principles.
