ideally, a basic level of communism is the necessary way forward for any stable community/nation. or feudalism. that works 2. but extreme capitalism such as we are approaching and indeed in some cases are in the midst of is a road to ruin.
communism does not equal loss of freedom. necessarily. it might do. depends on hu's boss...

I have always said that there is good Capitalism, and there is bad Capitalism. For a long time the US has maintained a good Capitalist system, but that is slowly becoming less and less true. All I have to say to Commie supporters is look at all the Communist countries ever... Look how ****ty they are. (Don't use China as an example, they have plenty of impovershed area's and are basically a Capitalist country. Seeing how much they benefit from other Capitalist countries that trade with them.)

like i said, it depends on who is in charge... if you could find a decent leader, or a peaceful society that doesnt really need a 'leader' then it might work. a lot of the ideology behind the original communism (before it became famous) was actually quite good, and if it werent for greedy and less that ideal-communist high ranking peoples, it might have all turned out for the best... but now we are getting into the 'wat if' area.
