Simple. Throw plasma grenade into air. Step into path of falling grenade. Explode.

Wait for Ghost to arrive. Ready your empty weapons after wasting ammo on a tree which you thought was a Brute in disguise. Stand nose to nose in front of Ghost, holding out useless guns. Wait for inevitable death.
Alternatively:
Go as close to large crowd of enemies and start pulling the trigger. Nothing happens so you whack it harder. Still nothing. Change weapons with Y button and start process again. Watch your dying body sink to the floor as you realise you had been yanking on the left trigger instead of the right one.
Et voila! Halo 3 history!
