Thanks for the comments everyone. And yeah, Andy.. It feels good to be creating new stuff again, lots of ideas I want to try out this time, and alot of techniques I wanna start creating.

Haha, thanks for the generous offer, but I'm gonna have to pass on that (tutorials just tell me things I already know, thus I stopped taking them a very long time ago). I appreciate it though.
Anyway, guys. Here's a new piece I finished for a competition at another forum.
Wanted to go for a comic book art-style with this one, with the idea of them battling in a blizzard. I hope I nailed the comic book look okay. I had to re-paint the entire cutout that's within the signature's frame (was a fun task, then erased some bits that looked quite jaggy & low-quality), and applied some sketches here and there to try and pull off the desired look I wanted. I'm mostly pleased with how I did the lighting though. I'm still getting used to my other new programs, but this one is just a first from it.
And in case anyone was wondering if I used brushes for the background and other small parts.. I didn't.
Thoughts?
