Ok, if someone burned the UK flag I'd not really give a crap...after all, the UK is not exactly this wonderful pure country who has never hurt or oppressed anyone ever. I'm not particularly patriotic and if someone burns a flag instead of a person, then I'm all for it. Rather some cloth than a human being...
Don't know about elsewhere but this country is flat on its back tolerant - to the point where we just say "come in, take what you want, say what you want and scream discrimination when you don't have it all RIGHT NOW" I hate that about this country - we are weak, hiding behind other, bigger countries when we want to kick off on another nation and then scuttle off under our rock when it doesn't work out and open our doors to any old person who wants to come in, hand them everything on a silver platter and then chastise British-born citizens for not opening their arms.
I have known genuine refugees and I have the utmost respect for them. They go through insane hardships and live in organised centres until their visas are granted. Everyone else can kiss my backside - if you are coming to this country then you should do it properly - get a job, don't scrounge benefits, secure a property and then fly in thirty of your relatives as well. Genuine asylum seekers will go through the genuine channels (not including human trafficking issues here as that is too huge an issue to encompass in a couple of posts) - what I object to is people coming over here, sitting on their backsides using our money to fund their lifestyles and then shipping friends and relatives over to enjoy the "good life" the West offers.
I've lived around some of these people and they have been all too happy to tell me how they exploit the system and how flawed it is. I am disgusted by the Government's lack of action just because they don't want to be seen as "racist" - how is it even a race issue? To me, it's a pure laziness thing - they don't want to work, pay for their own homes and they'd rather have everything dropped in their laps. Who wouldn't?
The Government is pathetic, weak and incapable of standing up for this nation. Is there any wonder the average Joe does it instead? It's no coincidence that more people are supporting the BNP than ever before. If someone is inciting others to racial hatred and violence, they should get their asses kicked out of the country, not placed in one of our cushy prisons with net access, Sky TV, three meals a day and all the visitors they want. Freedom of expression and speech sucks when it seeks to destroy others and deny them of the same rights - sucks even more when it is regarded as "racist" to protest when the hate clerics of Islam (who are an affront to the religion itself anyway) are kept safe and well when law-abiding British born citizens are overlooked and badly treated.
