give me a left 4 dead where i can customize my character and give him a combover and i'll be happy. all of these things that they claim to be adding to the director should have been done last time....meaning valve is taking the broken promise approach to getting sequel sales

Broken Promise Marketing Strategy:
1.) make an awesome game
2.) include 75% of what people are buying the game for
3.) release a sequel with the missing 25% plus slightly extra
4.) rinse and repeat until you have a franchise of 6 games with 2 games-worth of content.

L4Ds strategy:

1. Add a chick that the fanboys will make a nude model of and fap to it
2. Add a cool white guy that everyone wants to be
3. Add a Vietnam veteran
4. Add a black guy everyone will make fun of
5. Use a grainy filter to cover up the fact that you couldn't texture **** if your life depended on it
6. Make enemies that can incapacitate players so you can call the game Co-op
7. Make 4 hours of gameplay and say you'll make more in the future and that it will be free
8. Don't make it free, call it a sequel using ideas that you intended and already worked on for the first game
9. Instead of spending hours on figuring out where to place pistol ammo and how it should work.. make it unlimited
10. Add 2 black guys in the sequel so people won't think you're racist, make one fat though, we're going for realism here people!

Yeah, what's wrong with you? ? Having those pistols with infinite ammo really is helpful on Expert, and survival Mode. Not to mention if you ran out of ammo with your main guns and then your pistols..what the heck would you do then?

I think people would quickly pick up on saving ammo that way, afterall it's a co-op survival horror right?

Also not meant to shoot cars to raise your chances of survival but theres always someone on the team that does so on purpose. Games meant to be enjoyable not a tedious grinding task. With hundreds of infected running at you at once the last thing on your mind is saving ammo.

I enjoy saving ammo to survive, I wouldn't mind if they kept unlimited ammo on normal or beginner, but I think hard and expert would be cool without it.

There's too many zombies for limited ammo. Resident Evil 2, it works, because there's actually not that many zombies. Left 4 Dead, it just wouldn;t.
Hiding might be a cool idea. Not sure how it would work but would be cool

Unlimited ammo is a good idea for FPS games really, especially a horror based one, I'm to busy looking for the tank or stalker to jump out of no where and try to rip me in half, I don't want to look for ammo boxes also.
Also, realism in vidya games? No thanks, I like the impossibility of having a million bullets in my pocket.

Just run up real fast and shotgun blast her face, even on highest difficulty only one more shot will kill her, one should be enough for the other settings.
