Although people slate Halo 3 because of the hype it had around it i will never say anything bad about it. Mainly because although maybe the story and finale were kind of a let down the actual game is a technical marvel. The theatre mode is unbelievable and id hate to know how long it took to code it all and make it work that well. Its easily one of the best features ive seen in a game in the last few years. How they managed to get so much footage compressed to such a small file size i will never know.

AND 1 Street ball sucked BIG time. I played it, then beat it, then cried. Goals were dumb.

Hitman 2. I walked around the corner. GAME OVER! I didn't even know what had happen.

Final Fantasy 7 sucked too! Naw, Final Fantasy 7 is the best game ever!

This is why I don't listen to hype - you are invariably always going to be disappointed.

Mass Effect was an initial let-down for me, but I grew to enjoy it. Still not the "awesome game" people make it out to be, not for me, but it's a good one nonetheless.

Lost Odyssey and Eternal Sonata were both games I was so looking forward to playing...I like JRPG's but these two really hacked me off and I won't play them now. Shame, because they are both beautiful looking...they just irritate the hell out of me.

Saints Row sucks so bad - it's just a GTA ripoff and not even a good one at that. I'm also not a big COD4 fan (yes, I know I'm committing forum suicide here but so what?) largely because it doesn't cater for the casual gamer, despite statements to the contrary within the game itself. It would be nice if people could make games that good-looking/realistic/whatever not just for the hardcore gamers - strikes me as rather biased...

Surprisingly, it's been games like Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Viva Pinata and Rainbow 6 that I've figured I'd hate which are now some of my favourite games

harry potter games, thay need banning, especially order of the phoenix on the Wii trying to use the controller as a wand was the most ridiculous thing ever, no matter how you moved it you always ended up doing the same spell!

I loved Lost Odyssey & Blue Dragon. Both reminded me of the old Final Fantasies, and can't wait for the sequels. To each his own I say.

Biggest letdown for me for this generation was probably... hmm.. NFS: Most Wanted, I loved NFS: Undergound on the PS2, and Underground 2 on the Xbox.. So I figured this would be fun too. But those cop chases annoyed the hell out of me, every time I pass one up, i get in a chase. Hated it.

GTA IV... hard to say, it's not a bad game, it's a really fun game.. There's just things I wish it had from the previous GTA's. So the only problem I saw, was that there just wasn't enough brought to the table with it. The cop chases are awesome however.

Mass effect was hyped up hard, and yes i did get to enjoy it more. I am too not a cod4 fan, i just cant get into it idk why. I just didnt like halo idk why it would be a great movie fo sho.....but i couldnt get into it after the first game.

well maybe there was too much hype around the game but i still think it is 1 of the best game series ever. there weren't much missions and stuff played it trough in like 1 day but i bought it to play online

and i have to say that RPG's are the best games thats treu just lvling your char. and stuff

thats true never listen 2 the hype cuz when you listentoo it you think that its the best game evr and then when you pley it you think it suckz cuz you tought too much of it just don't think anything of it till you played it

I liked playing the Halo 3 campaign but the online play leaves me cold - largely because the morons on LIVE are so retarded...like with a lot of other online play, sadly...

I looked a bit into Two Worlds a couple of weeks ago and the magic system seemed fun. Some spells were really innovative and not the usual ones seen in most RPGs.

A big letdown - Hellgate London. It looked so good when I discovered it few years back, but when I saw it at my friends place... Didn`t like the graphics, combat sucked, environment was boring.
