Ok. I don't have live. If I go to my friends house and make a silver account in order to DL the in-game content, will I then be able to go home, use my regular account and still access the content on my non-live account? I think it would work, since it's on my Harddrive, but I just wanted to make sure.

Nope. To use anything you downloaded on Xbox Live (be it music, videos, game content, or wallpaper/gamer pics), you MUST be signed in to Xbox Live with that specific account. Think of it as a serial key that you have to keep putting in, the serial key being your account.
