Lionhead patches 'broken' Fable Pub Games

Alot of people I am assuming. I just downloaded pub games, I suppose I had better play legit (and end up in debt).

hmmm.... on one hand, im dissapointed to hear about a patch, but im also glad. i really only wanted the items. i liked the patch cuz it got me out of major debt, but its too tempting. i dont want it to ruin my gaming experience, like i did with oblivion. we all just gotta remember that the pub games are not the only way to rack in money. and even if you do get a huge debt, you just need to do comunity service (wich involves killing bandits) to pay it off. ah..... comunity service quests, this is gonna make it a lot easyer and fun to be evil.

man, i dont need no exploit! there are plenty of ways to get money in fable 2 anyway... every gold you get in the pub games is generally overkill... i occasionally play pub games, and when i do, i play tournaments and i have 60k... that alone is massive overkill
what is the point in using an exploit in pub games when it will be 10 times easier to make money in fable 2?

well it was fun while it lasted but I'm willing to install the patch now. i agree it could ruin the game and shorten it up quite a bit but i've cleared my debt and am going to give my character quite an inheritance of gold & items so I'm ok with it i'll feel better knowing ill have to work for my money instead of cheat to get it, plus ill value my property that much more. so although ill regret in the beginning of fable i'll feel better in the end.

I wouldn't worry about debt. Samsaid that you can just do some community service to pay it off ie go on a quest

Yeah I'm not worried about debt I just want the items from pub games. And a decent amount of money would be good. I personally don't think it spoils the game. If you enjoy having lots of money from the start it hasn't really spoiled anything for you has it?
I think I will play offline (actually how DO you play offline?) just in case I am really bad and need to use the glitch.

It's possible that you won't be able to transfer the gold until you patch the game

Yeah I'm fine with that. I just want to build up some decent cash before I transfer it over. So do you just sign out of x-box live? I have an offline profile thing, do I use that? Will my online account still have the same save file? Or are they seperate?

WTF!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO, i havent gotten them yet!!! i was gunna use the money for a dummie porfile after i won, so i didnt have to spend so much time, sure it ruins games but it doesnt for me it makes it funner glitches are hella fun...this is gehy, just dont use the glitch if you dont wanna cheat stupid assholes

cheating isnt really nessisary. once you get the hang of it, you can start to get a decent amount of cash. really, using the pub games at all is kinda cheating. and like hook coast god said, pub game gold is overkill. there are gonna be plenty of ways to get gold in fable 2.

still, maybe there will be other glitches, its alot funner then working if yur playing a game or not its still the same also i have a life i cant spend all this time working when i kewd be chattg up hot bitches
