What game took you the longest to complete?

well... for me it was KotOR II
there was just so much to do and explore in that game, and then even when you finish it once, you still have only about a quarter of the story, as there will be changes depending on whether your character was male, female, good, evil, made friends easily, etc...
that basicly turns a 30 hour game into a 100 hour game if you're the type who wants to discover everything and learn the whole story... and I am.
.. I so love that game...

Umm....technically....act ually, I'm that crap I got Steve to do the final battle for me - then I levelled up like a crazy person and maxed out everything just to make me feel better. I find games very very hard to play generally and get frustrated easily - so 70 hours is good going for me.

heh. There's only one I'm frustrated with. If you know the layout of Final Fantasy Games, but if you don't you might still udnerstand me.

You have these battle accessories, like say a Ribbon that negate effects, like poison and slow time and petrify

In this Dungeon. Via infinito. They dont' work..at all....

And there's 100 levels to the dungeon every 20 levels..there's a boss, who's INSANELY hard.
I got to level..80..and I'm stuck, this boss Petrifies my party slowly..so I spend most of my time trying to heal everyone, then he does this move that kills my party, it shatters the people petrified and kills the ones not.

..It's so....AAGHHH frustrating, so I know how you feel.

I always have that trouble with FF - it's one of the things that irritates me about the game series - I love the storyline, the graphics and all that jazz - but the million squillion little fights every ten seconds and then the bosses that make your party sick or practically on the floor with, like, 90HP and then kill you before you have a chance to leg it or fight back - that winds me up.

I'm not too fond of random enemy encounters. I like Kingdomhearts for that aspect because I can see the enimes and dodge them if I want..and RUN AWAY if I'm doing something more important. Final Fantasy Crystal chronicles you might like though, because you can see the enimes in this one. And the characters are uber chibi cute.

I like the encounters for the opportunity to level up - but when I just want to go somewhere quick, there is nothing more irritating than the screen dissolving and a bunch of deformed tortoises or whatever kicking off on you

Fixed for FF XII

No more random attacks, you can see the enemies from what ive read.

That sounds good - I've only played up to FF10 and got so fed up with the constant random battles that I've not bothered with it for ages. Plus the Blitzball game made me want to scream with boredom...

heh, they had Blitzball in FFX2, but there was no..description on how to play so I was confused to hell..

Blitzball was amazing, i played it for like 80 hours

Loved it when i knew what to do!
