I don't know if anyone else has had this, but recently the main page has been making IE freeze on me. It never did this to me before. I want to say it started after the new look got slapped up there.

It's not a problem if I remember to go directly to the forums, but I thought you should know-- wouldn't want to put off new people.

Which version of Internet Explorer are you using? Also, which OS? Everything seems good to me on IE6, IE7 and IE8 using Windows Vista.

It sometimes crashes me at college, we use IE6 on XP.

How long has this problem been occurring for? Do you get any error messages at all?

No error messages, just "Windows Internet Explorer is nto responding" and IE freezes, I noticed it the first tiem I tried it on my Grannies Vista, about 3 weeks ago, thought it was a fluke.

Yeah, no error, just the "not responding" deal. We have... XP, I'm pretty sure, and I THINK version 7, but I'm not sure.

And it's very intermittent. It'll work fine one visit, freeze the next.

I believe he likes to reward people who report problems with the site. Not because there is a problem with the site, but because there's a problem being brought to his attention so that he can fix it.

Could you post a screenshot of the problem for me please? Also, does it freeze every time you visit the homepage or just sometimes?

I'm not sure I'm understanding the problem - does the homepage crash/hang on you each time you visit?

I have a few theories as to what might be causing the problem; the biggest one being the featured content slider.

I really appreciate the help guys. If there's anything else you can think of that might be relevant then do please post it. It's obviously a big problem if certain visitors are unable to access the site.

^It's not each time, but very often. It crashes, then I have to do ALT+CTRL+DEL and end the process of iexplorer.exe to get out.

It's not happening at the fable 3 page (the one you posted).
