Sokay, I just wanted to clear things up and keep on topic. That's prettymuch what I've been trying to say tho........
And yea I know it's difficult explaining what you believe when it's what YOU believe and no one else. But also explaining what I believe to you would feel like preaching... know what I mean?
No no, I agree. I've agreed with many of their points as well. I too am not Christian, and don't really like the bible all that much. But I hate when people are just as narrow-minded as the things they hate and speak against. It's hypocrisy...
I too am walking the treachorous middle line, and it's not always easy friend.
I am not backing your religion, nor supporting his 'science'. I'm just tired of narrow-minded views. People get too caught up in technicalities.
I have to agree though, while the bible has a lot of hypocrasy, it does teach some good morals. My point is and always will be to question what you are taught, to find the deeper meaning hidden by words written by human hands.
Humans are imperfect, capable of mistakes, and prone to selfishness. Of course religious scriptures have been distorted over time. But isn't religion simply a coming-together of people with similar beliefs. I see nothing wrong in a community, as long as their are not blindly faithful and realize the bible is not a literal thing that should be followed to the letter.
Spirituality itself is more important than your creed.
It was directed at anyone being like: "I'm right, you're wrong, end of story." It's somewhat annoying having to defend both sides from everyone but, I just want an open minded conversation about spirituality. Tsuyu and Arseface (Areseface isn't quite as bad anymore now that he's realized he was being one-sided), were being quite narrow-minded about it.
I just wanna make the point that science isn't perfect, and 200 yers ago space travel (even to the moon) would have been considered a scientific impossibility.
I think people are mistaking my open-mindedness and wish to share that open-mindedness as argumentative. But if someone wishes to point out everything that is wrong using science, I can just as easily prove them wrong as well. It's a viscous circle.
Well, our theories may be more similar then you think. Your force of nature could be my very same super-subconscious. Perhaps it is even the sub-conscious of all living things that works together like a web of spiritual conscious. All living things working together, even without know, as pieces of the giant machine known as the universe!
To me it just makes sense, nature is like clockwork, humans are like clockwork.Everything runs and works becuase other things cause them to work. It's based on cause and effect.
I actually spoke with her about it, she said from some previous bad experiences she's become a bit hesitant about sharing herself with others openly. I don't blame her but I'm glad to see she has found some of her confidence. Though in truth I wouldn't be able to say anything if I hadn't heard her really inspiring story! YOU ARE NOW MY FRIEND!
I'm just glad I didn't piss people off! But I do thank you, all I want to convey is that not all Christians try and condemn everyone else for not believing.
