Fable was an awesome game and the only people who really got let down were the people listening to all the Hype i didn't listen to the hype and loved it so did all my friends and we're all going to be queing up for Fable 2 because PM makes really good games!!!

I don't try to listen to all the hype over a video game and the only people who I listen to about certain games are the people with the same taste in games as me.
BUT
I JUST beat the game yesterday... almost 4 years after it came out. All I heard about this game was how great it was and how I NEED to play it. I don't even own it, it was lent to me from a friend. I decided to play it because I wanted to play Fable 2.

I read about Fable in a magazine and thought, wow, it`s great. When I finally got it, I was like, WOW, it IS great.
And after I read all the things PM promised, I thought, it`s still great, but should have been better.

In the last PM, interview at E3, Peter even admitted he made a lot of promises, he just wasn't skilled enough at the time to make happen. I think Fable 2 will be about filling a lot of promises, and making sure, he never makes the same mistakes, again. I think he's more than paid for past mistakes.

I saw that interview too, it was nice of him to say these things and it seemed the disappointment of fans had an impact on him.

Yeah, and he also mentioned therapy, after getting off the boards, that flamed him.

Probably has a permanent therapist.

He deserves that for the most part, but he also deserves alott of respect for what he has set in place for us. Im glad it didnt live up to the hype or else maybe some of these great ideas would have never been thought out for the second game!

Hm, you've got a point there.

Never thought of it, like that. Well, then, maybe we can thank the therapist, for good advice on how to make things right? All I know is, I want to play the game now.

It's almost August.

I beleive we all do

......but dont rush it, ill be back at college and dont feel like doing huge projects and sitting in lectures

I bet that's rough. To be in college, at the same time, a good game comes out. You'll be lucky, to play, every now and then.

It does stink but i need school, as do we all! But every now and then?!?!?!? Its not bad. Its easier bc i wont have to be full time for Work!

I seen that on a xbox live interview I believe.
Hopefully it was just the hardware with the original xbox that couldn't handle all the promises PM promised. I hope that wasn't just an excuse.

Speaking of good games coming out... never mind thats way off topic. Ill just make a new thread somewhere.

School is definitely, a top priority. Study hard and make straight A's or at least, B's. It'll really help your future, be a lot more comfortable.
I think after playing Fable 2, I won't want to play TLC, anymore.

I'll be patiently waiting for Fable 3.

Well i dont beleive my future will be comfortable at all, Im going army and requesting for combat.....Thats what i want to do and i am excited for it

Luckily for me I had no internet and no knowledge of the game fable at the time of release then one day my brother said this games great have a go and as soon as i saw the opening bit i fell in love with the music,

i was expecting it to be average but it just blew me away like no other game had before. It was a truly immense experience and fable tlc rocketed to my no.1 game of all time (above tomb raider)
