if anyone is interested i just started my own forum on a free web hosting thing called invisionfree it was brought to my attention by Steve and walker said he used it and it was easy but if anyone wants to see it there are no rules just no spam i classify what is spam and what is not spam but anywho heres the url.

i know on like a month or two i am going to buy my own site
on a side note it has only been open for a day and already most of the stuff in there is spam lol

Yeah, that's the world of forums I'm afraid...mine was open for less than seven minutes and the Canadian Spammers swooped in with their endless drug sites and porn links. Thankfully they tend to use the contact form so no one has to see it...

If the software allows it, install a filter so that you can add or alter permissions accordingly such as who can post and which email addresses are not welcome to join. I've got a few we ban as a matter of course across our boards that you can have if you want them - just PM me and I'll send them to you. They aren't specific to one user, just anyone who uses that particular email host such as .ru addresses etc...

well the software soesnt let me do stuff like that they try to keep it simple i seached through the options and it wont even let me make it to where unregestered accounts cant post that is where all the spam comes from lol i only have 4 registered members and i think they are all from this site.
