I never even knew they sold GB rams, what did you do, sneak into IBM HQ.

I was planning on buying this;
How do i know if it doesnt go well with my existing one?

Standard RAM these days is 512Mb, recommended for most high spec games these days in 1 GIG so...

I dont really know about compatibility that much but i bought two 1 GIG sticks of same brand and type so i knew they would go together. The 512Mb that was already in my computer is on my Motherboard (that i also replaced) in a box so it can go into another computer.

Then do what ever but upgrading RAM and GFX is a must if you want games to run well on your pc because with that Intergrated GFX you are wasting a good processor and having standard RAM will help your cause no end.

lol, theres not really much differance between dollar and pound. Well, its only like a couple of singles, but not much.

Overall, RAM and graphics cards are quite expensive, seeing as all they do is improve your general computer.

But at the end of the day, they improve your gaming quality like Drakan said, allowing you to play alot more games, so thats what it all comes down to. If your willing to pay extra money to play extra games.

I guess overall, PC is the best games console, as you can customize it so much.

My computer sucks! Never buy a dell! Ever! I paid like $700 for it and in less than 2 months it was worth $150

It depends what your using it for.

If your buying them to make a profit then its bad.
If its a home PC, if it runs then its fine, no need to worry about value.

its a home pc, but i use it to play games, and internet, but the first day i plug in the ethernet cable BAM i got three viruses, and its been crappy ever since.

Nothing beats bein able to play Fable anywhere while playing on a Laptop...This weekend I'll buy Half life 2 and play it on my laptop. It's 2.8 GHz with 768 RAM.

Toshiba. The only real problem with it is the battery life. It's only like 3 hours. My other laptop has a battery life of 6 hours, but it's only 1.6 GHz and 384 RAM.

And to Dark Draken: I did the same exact thing. I just slapped on two 1 GB RAM cards onto my computer. However, it was supposed to be orignally 2.5 GB of RAM since the computer orginally came with 512 RAM and I have four slots, but for some reason, my computer would always fail, so I just stuck with 2 GB.
