My wife locked me out of my house!

I had a house in Hook Coast - down the path from the lighthouse - and according to my mini-map I still own it. The icon on the minimap is yellow showing I own it, but the door is closed. This happened after I returned to Hook Coast for the TLC mission. I'm standing in front of it right now and I confirmed it with the minimap. The door is locked so my wife locked me out of my house! The minimap shows I own it, yet the door is locked. Obviously, this is a bug. Has it happened to anyone else?

I killed Jack and then got the TLC quest from the guildmaster. You have to go to Hook Coast to put the heart in the lighthouse. That's when I saw the door to my house was now closed. There's no sign out front saying I can buy it and my mini-map shows a yellow icon meaning that I own it. I think I could find her during the day, beat her up or insult her until she divorces me (or just kill her), and then I could get the house back. I already finished the game though. TLC was very short, but I'll try that next time.

Actually, I finished the game soon after posting the problem. TLC was so short. I never tried any lock-picking. It was so easy to make money, I didn't need to do any lock-picking. It was my first time and I was playing as a good warriror-mage. Next time I'll play as an evil mage and then I'll try breaking into houses.

SOLUTION

Bash down the door with brute force, take her by the hair and drag her to the chapel of skorm and relish in her sacrifice. Then marry another npc and if she does the same YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO
