Re: Fable 2 Ideas/Wishlist
My wishlist
Immersive World:
A gorgeous immersive beautiful world...that is full of unpredictable things. For example...walking in a unknown forest area that is very highly detailed and the next thing you know a creature jumps out of the bushes to attack you and that's when the unexpected combat kicks in. Another good example would be say you just walk and very far away you happen to see a mountain that is actually a part of the game world (not a backround) where you can actually climb up if you can find your way up there. As you climb and climb the mountain is very big and once you reach the peak...a Dragon flies by and starts fighting with you. I really want to see this in a next generation RPG and I think that if Fable 2 can pull this off it will be something we will never forget a engaging immersive experience that is very breath taking.
Big Secrets:
Just like Fable 1 enviorment and it's story was full of dark secrets. When you read a book about the "old" kingdom or how dragons were being hunt for sport and things like that. Example : Go find a book that tells about the history of albion or hints at something that still exist (like a huge creature/monster), follow the book's clues , keep following see where it get's you and eventually discover something that is just stunning to see. Fable was a very mysterious world full of intresting history and things. I hope that Fable 2 will talk more about history of Albion and let you play that history if you can find your way in there.
Gore System:
This one may seem to be weird but I am can't stand RPGs with not any gore in them... If any of you here have played Blade of Darkness then you know what I mean by a gore system. Just to make it short tho, a combat so realistic and violent that you can literarly chop enemies in half, their limbs, arms, hands, legs , heads. In Fable 1 you can chop the head off but I don't think it was enough (well for me).

What's wrong with wands? I'd prefer a staff to a wand though, something taller than me, with pretty jewels on it. Some people DO like to be Magic users, and I'm guessing a wand/staff would be usefull for that type of player. I also think sheilds would be good for magic users.

perhaps if the wand/staff enhanced your own magic rather than having 20 charges of a spell that you already have. that would be cool. It's nice to have a wand when you a low level charicter but i generally just sell them in other games I play.
Note: I like the sword and bow first magic second

Maybe Not for these but I just found this on their milestone for Friday Nov 17th
...Iain mentioned to me that maybe (just maybe) I should try to design a dungeon myself with feedback from the Fable 2 community in mind.

Re: Fable 2 Ideas/Wishlist
Real Legendary Items:
It was a really cool idea for Fable 1 that there were sort of secret legendary items but I don't think they were secret enough. It was way easy to find them..... I hope that in Fable 2 Legendary Items (shields/weapons/bows) will actually have a entire set for example. Titan Breatsplate, Titan Axe, Titan Leggards, Titan Shield, Titan Gauntlets, Titan Shoulders, Titan Boots. They also would be in levels like for example Let's say you have Titan Leggards, Titan Breastplate, Titan Gaunlets and Titan Boots, you would go on another major few hour quest to upgrade them to the next higher level of that Legendary Item set. This may seem to be similar to the World of Warcraft Epic/Legendary Tiers, something like this but obviously not a grind fest but more of real questing and VERY hard to get. Titan would probably refer to a Warrior Legendary item set while say Wizard Hat, Wizard Robes, Wizard Cloth, Wizard Boots, Wizard Gloves, you got the idea. Obviously their names would be more legendary than a wizard or a titan, the names would probably come from Legendary Monsters that are involved in these quests (Dragons, Gryphons, Giant Trolls, etc....or something beyond imagination). So you got the idea.
Evoleving World:
This is a very important wishlist for me, why I say this? Ok have any of you remember when you go to greatwood or I forgot what it was called not exactly sure but you get there from greatwood, its like a area with bunch of bridges and there is a Troll in the middle and a few bandints but there is also a lake around and also a pathway that when you go up you reach to a point where it says Bridge Out or something like that. I am sure you know what I am talking about, it's part where there is a broken bridge but it looked like that one day it would be fixed and you could go up the mountain and discover a new area. What I am saying is that if you came somewhere and saw a dead end because of a broken bridge, logs blocking, or anything else that seems you can go to but is kind of like locked area, and in the future in a few years of Fable 2's gameplay it will eventually be opened and not by doing quests but by the evolveing world. Wouldn't that be sweet?
Here is a request and I am sure it will probably be there
Replayable Arena: Just a gorgeous arena where you chose what monsters you want to fight with (you can only fight the ones you killed already or should I say unlocked) and just you know fight them for fun! Hopefully this will be in Fable 2.

Regarding the armor. I think it sounds a bit like Nostros Armor. and that sounds pretty cool, armor that goes along with which weapon you use. If that's what you meant, if not I read wrong.
and I know which part you're talking about in Greatwood, it's like the other way to reach Orchard Farm. That bridge..I always stop and look at that bridge because I wish..I wish I could free roam wherever I wanted. I would be so happy if it was fixed and I could explore mountains.
Like I found a Concept Art for Fable and it had the hero standing far away from a town fighting an Earth troll. That's how I wish it was. (it's actually in your gallery)
I wanna replay the arena...

I would also like to see areas "open up" maybe some of them would depend on actions like rescuing a bridge builder

Re: Fable 2 Ideas/Wishlist
I have been thinking about ideas for this new game for a very long time. Check this out you guys: what if there was a part of the story line where you go through and do all this stuff and in the end you get to choose an alternate realm that you can rule. Sort of like heaven and hell. You could be a god or a devil. and the realm that you choose has different side quests that relate to that realm. I think it sounds cool.

Re: Fable 2 Ideas/Wishlist
How about once you have finished the game you are give access to a tool kit so you can develope your own quests. I know it basically impossible given that it takes a team of 70 professionals to do such a thing but one can dream
