Yeah that would be pretty awesome, but you wouldn't be able to climb with a heavy weapon on your back!

tons of great ideas here so heres my small list
more range of movements: jumping,climbing, ducking side turning(imagine a bandit lunges forward witha sword and you turn you body to the right or left to avoid it..not a very good explanation sorry)
getting dirty! i could see the towns people making fun of the dirty people and admiring the clean. also certain deeds could be veiwed as dirty which leads me to my next point
Smoking! id love to runn around with a pipe or cigars hanging out my mouth! basiclly more substances of leisure such as wine and those little mushrooms would be great!
i thought i had some more but the brains have stopped agian..
