Wow, I would love something like that! Too bad it wasn't in F2, your family gets sick and you have to go milk a balverine or something...That would be great.
Having a entire town sick, maybe you would have to buy some supplies from other towns and medicine, or go hunt for some on your own.

How would you milk a balverine? And how would you get close to it?
Anyway, I have thought of something. Lets say if you were to fight some balverines and then one bit you, then you get the disease they carry and you can either choose to find a cure or become a balverine with the ability to transfrom like Lucy(or something) could in F2. Like Oblivions vampire thing but better.

An industrial era defeats the purpose of a game called "Fable", don't you think?

A fable is a story with a moral, which in this case is for every choice, a consequence. So as long as they keep the morality system it dosen't defeat the purpose of fable.

Dear god...
FABLE 3 WILL BE SET IN VENICE?!
I'm joking
Sweet find
this definetly disproves an authors theory on how fable 3 will have "lightsabers and lazor guns"

I agree =[ I think i'm gunna return to playing TLC and ONLY TLC. There is just something much better about the original than the others that are coming out.

Great find! Bet it isn't finished. Just a rough draft. Really cool though. Maybe the town changes with the choices we make?

Well, if you really think about it, even in TLC cities were pretty rooted in realism, much like they are now. The mystery and wonder of the Fable universe is found mainly in the game's wilderness. Admittedly, Fable II kinda bombed in that area, but the new concept art for Fable III's overworld leads me to believe that they might be injecting that whimsical nature back into the wilderness. God, I hope they do, too.

Re: "New" Concept Art from Fable 3's Bowerstone
Very interesting, just started checking back in with Fable, and this is a good thing to start with... I suppose. Although, I must agree, it does look depressing.
But then with the rise of technology comes the loss of a kind of innocence you can never get back. That was one of the things that drew me to Fable in the first place and one of the main reasons I'm drawn to RPG's in general. I enjoy being able to step back through time to a place where people were dependent on themselves for survival, rather than machines.
(off topic?...... maybe a little, I digress..... ^^)
Anywho, I do like it, and I did expect Fable III to go this way, so.... I guess it will be an adventure, playing in an era I've left nearly unexplored.

Re: "New" Concept Art from Fable 3's Bowerstone
That is the most depressing and discouraging concept art I've ever seen!!! Fable III concept art is supposed to excite me not enrage me!!! I really hope the magic of fable doesn't change. If it did I would lose faith in all video gaming. I barely even play them now!!! I mean look at my puny gamerscore!!! Still, nonetheless I will play it, and if I don't like then I say "D@mn Loinhead, burn them all!!! [/endrant]
Seriously though I hope this game isn't as depressing as this picture.

Re: "New" Concept Art from Fable 3's Bowerstone
The magic of fable won't change. This might mean that as you are king you can improve the lifestyle of your subjects, so in the beggining its like the picture but the choices you make could make it worse, leave it as it is or improve it.

Re: "New" Concept Art from Fable 3's Bowerstone
I actually really liked that art. Sure, it's depressing, but it is in the middle of a revolution.... Just picture that scenery changing to your own morals. It would make overhauling the entire town alot more accomplishing, IMO.
