Re: New furniture!!!!
My dad will ring up the company and b*tch about it today hopefully. I suppose that's the catch for having such friendly deliverers.
If you're thinking about buying furniture in Melbourne, Australia. Don't use Thriftway.
They said it would take a month for the delivery, which was better than the other company. But they made us wait two months anyway.

Re: New furniture!!!!
It is cool to have new stuff - makes a room seem brand new, in a way. I just hate self-assembly furniture...spent a day and a half putting together an entertainment unit and now have something resembling stigmata on each palm due to excessive force on screwdrivers and the like...made it all better by hurling abuse at everyone else though...

Re: New furniture!!!!
It is just right, but soft or hard would have been better than my old one, which was basically two old cupboards on their side with a board on top of it.
