meh. because Quests are bothersome and annonying when you choose based on how much money you will receive this allows players to have more freedom of choice.

im happy you dont get money for quest cuz when you are bad and kill ppl you get money much money but when your good and kill ppl you dont get extra money just earn you damn money by working

It's so you can customize your character and not be restricted to wearing one type of armor because it has the best stats. This way you can wear whatever you want. I honestly don't really understand how it's going to work.

As for the "No money for quests" topic. I don't like it. Why wouldn't you get money for quests? If I'm going to slay a bunch of bandits so they don't destroy a town, I would certianly like to get paid.

Yeah but it wouldnt work with the story since the people of Albion have forgotten about Heros, and if they would remember they hated heros at the end. So why would there be a reward offered if they dont use heros. I think that reputation and exp are just fine because in real life thats what you get for doing a heroic deed and rarely ever a cash prize/reward.

Okay, that's true. I guess it should just depend on the quest. If somebody asks you to go save their town from bandits, you should get a reward. If you find a town being over-run by them and just decided to take them all out, no cash reward should be given.

I'm fine with it. I personally like the aspect of jobs. It makes it interesting. Especially if the jobs can be useful. (ie, making your own sword, or if you're a woodcutter, getting a better deal on a house b/c yup, you built it or something)

But honestly, I think there will probably be SOME (though limited) quests that you get paid for. (Or else what's an assassin to do?, that's basically a quest isn't it?)

Peter has confirmed that doing quests for a town will make the towns people give you gifts (money maybe) So yeah i sorta like the idea *Like not being mega rich just because your a hero*
