No shiny new swords?

i read somewhere on this forum that the massive barbarian swords are done away with? Is it true? AQre we stuck with sissy rapiers and buckshot? It cant be.

They'd be good for shields against guns aswell. I've heard no news of this though

The first teaser had a hero with a sword and a big brutish evil looking guy with a great mace. I think well see stuff that makes the game fun.

The huge barbarian swords are always fun! I'd be pretty disappointed if they are done away with.

I agree with you , Big swords is usually a hit, no pun intended.

Look at Cloud from Final Fantasy , Ichigo from Bleech and Gutz from Beserk those are some big $$ swords

getting a little off topic but... will there be any sheilds?, i mean if u had steel ones or something that's be cool, or Kevlar armor!!!! that's a little ahead of this time period i think though. lol

sissy rapiers!? pft fight a guy with a rapier when you have a big axe you cant lift you wont last 3 seconds.

if there are no new swords then then there should be old powerfull swords hidden in old ruins.

In real life sure. but this is Fable haven't you seen the super hero strength in the first one?

I've always disliked rapiers and thin swords. They're just so.. Wimpy.. The big *** swords are where its at, but i think the guns will make up for that

If there are no Big *** swords I will be ****ed. I was a bow user in Fable TLC. I mean skorm's or even a Master LB with Physical shield and MultiArrow is just pwnage. ESP if you can kite well. Plus I loved sniping them and their heads go spinning. Best headshots ever.

Now I am ****ed there will be no bows. But if they take out the cool swords I wont buy this, I wont rent this, and If it doesnt come out pc I wont even play this.

people have their own opinions but, that's no good reason to not play a great game, heck u might just be able 2 shoot they're head with a gun and watch em go stiff, of course that's just to get ur spirits up

But, If I wanted to shoot something with a gun there are plenty of games that allow that. I am just irritated that there will be no bows. I play fable because I like fantasy games. I like midevil feeling of the game. Bows magic and swords. I like big ridiculous swords and axes that no one would ever use in real life.

maybe there are bows still in some areas we might be able to get one.
