I could honestly careless for big a** swords, just aslong as the swords look good. I just hope they dont have big a** guns.

I'm starting to like the whole Cutlass/Thin sword thing now, it just Fits in with everything. And you wouldn't be able to do half of the stuff you could do in Fable 2 Melee with huge *** weapons. Take a look at the Video Diaries (second one).

I was pretty sure i read Crossbows might still be a possibility..

I hope there's alotta weapon techniques, like counter attacks, actual stabbing, and stuff. Assassins creed is the best sword game out right now, it has been one of the first games u could actually stab through a guy, not just hack n slashm to death.
And ya crossbows have been confirmed as far as i know.

I havent played assassins creed yet. But I want too, although I heard you only have the same 4 weapons the whole game.

I have never heard this anywhere before. But if this is true, then I will be disappointed beyond belief.

Rapiers suck. Did you know that they where actually invented as more of a fashion accessory rather than a weapon? A rapier is long, thin, and heavy, and is only usefull if you stab someone whith it, if you tryed to swing it it would most likely break. A rapier isn't a sword, its a twig!

the rapiers i am refering to in this post are the early versions of the 1500s. since fable 2 is taking place 500 years later in the time where guns have just been invented, i figured that if rapiers are going to be in the game that it would be the early versions. these early versions where heavy and not very nimble but the later versions are much different.

HA!! twigs that's laughable compared to a giant sword that can smash through walls!

Not sure, but I know there are upgrades for the weapons. Maybe by the time we visit the old guild ruins, we can dig some bigger weapons up?
