Lock picking on the pc version is hard. I just do the "Auto Pick"
function but they break. Oh well, thats why I have spells.

And Druid, how could have you not heard about Oblivion? Its been in video game news headlines and has even gotten worldwide attention due to "naughty" mods. Plus, it has obtained numerous awards including Game of The Year by many magazines and websites. Maybe because I watch to much of G4 and visit video game forums and websites I know so much....

I didn't think there were any people who hadn't heard of Oblivion! I'm shocked to my very core. You should seriously get it dude, it's amazing. Ulitmate game of the year, plus it will probably eat at least 100 hours of your life, it's that good.

Better than breaking lockpicks, just get the unbreakable lockpick. Saves so much time and effort. Just keep auto-lockpicking untill the door opens. Can't remember where you get it though, it's one of the Daedric shrines in the South. Well worth doing.

Dont be put off by how HUGE the game is and the freedom you have as it is pretty daunting at first.

Yeah thats pretty much what happened to me, i got stuck on a quest and havent played it since though and got to caught up in Knights Of The Old Republic II (Thanks to Hex) but i will go back and play it again soon as Oblivion is such a great game.

I get quite obsessive with games, hence another reason why I don't play them as much as I'd like...but when I get a new one, provided it's not insanely difficult for me, I tend to play and play and play until someone politely informs me that I've left Jessica at school for a week now and isn't it about time I went to collect her?

well with Oblivions 100+ hours of main and side quests im sure it will keep you entertained. Plus as you get stronger so do the enemies ...
