To be honest, it was just random funnies I found searching the web for images like the first one I posted. I don't yet have Oblivion (will have anytime soon though).

Re: The Oblivion Thread!
Good pics anyway. So if you've seen a bit of pictures from Oblivion already, I can assume you've noticed it's pretty impressive graphics. It seems more so on the 360 than on the PC, mostly because the horrible lag makes you forget about it sometimes.

Re: The Oblivion Thread!
*shrugs* Yes, I've noticed that. Borrowed a copy of Oblivion and tried to run it once - not a successful test to say the least.
Since that day I've been dedicated to scrape enough cash togheter for a 360. I've got the cash for the 360+360 equipment(wireless controller, charge pack for that ect ect ect...) and the game, BUT the kit needed to hook it up to my PC monitor is just that taaaad bit more than what I have at the moment.

Re: The Oblivion Thread!
I have Oblivion on both the PC and the 360 and I am happy and amazed to say that I beat the game on the PC, despite the horrific lag. It can actually be pretty good after your PC gets used to running at Oblivion's level if it can handle it in the first place. As for the 360 version, not as many graphics options, but still solid graphics and beyond-PC quality visuals. Looking out to the mountains from just outside of the Imperial City never looked so good.

I goin to say that 360 Oblivion graphics beat PC Oblivion graphics by far. Also I do agree that Oblivion looks great on both but I like getting on top of the downloaded wizard tower which does give a pretty good veiw of the land.

Little to much alcohol...?
Yeah the Morrowind combat was way to reliant on your stats and skill and not on what you were aiming at etc.

Re: The Oblivion Thread!
Just a little straying from the combat topic, has anyone here heard of or seen M'aiq the Liar in the game? It's an easter egg that is extremely hard to find. He is a Khajit male with a funky robe on who runs from town to town looking for calipers... don't ask me why. He is extremely fast and uses the roads, and it is very difficult to catch up with him, even with a horse. Anyone else seen him other than me? If you talk to him, he just spouts random opinions on the game... pretty funny stuff too. And he talks in third person about himself... pretty strange.

I remember you talking about him and no i havent played it again yet so will have to keep an eye out. You can move to any topic about Oblivion you wish as it is just a general Oblivion thread

Re: The Oblivion Thread!
I'm sorry I'm slow with the screenshots you guys. I haven't used my home computer for an extemely long time. Maybe some day... Anyway, he can be anywhere along the roads, though he pops up mostly around the southern part of the world near Leyawin and continues up the road. Sometimes if you fast travel to the stables of some cities, you see something out of the corner of your eye if you're lucky enough. He wears a tattered grey robe and is always running. He is deemed an essential character and cannot be killed, so if you have a good enough ranged spell, you can slow him down by killing him and waiting for him to get back up. That's how I originally caught up to him.
