Rhadiel rushes down the halls of Herial Manor, his feet echoing against the stone floor.He then quickly goes to his father, Galen's side, who is lying in bed, very ill.His older brothers, and his sister are there as well...The eldest, Dycegard has nothing but a stern look on his face, and his other Lexan, shows a face of sadness and shock. His sister, Emmere, is crying loudly. "Do not cry, my daughter" Galen said, as lightning strikes outside in the storm...Emmere continued her weeping, not paying attention...Galen then turned to Lexan. " My dear son Lexan, due to your older brothers refusal, you must now take the leadership of the Hyral Kngihts..." Lexan said nothing. "I'm growing old...its up to you four to continue...."

Galen then looked at Rhadiel, "Come here, let me look at you" Rhadiel walked forward and met his fathers gaze."You have become a fine man my son, I love you oh so very much....." Gripping on to his palm, his voice began to fade with the storm, "become a fine knight...Rhadiel"

Closing his aging eyes, the great Galen loosened his grip on his son. Rhadiel let go, and ceremonially placed Galen's fine longsword on his father chest. A last bolt of lightning stroke, lighting the glooming shadow in the room. Lexan put his hand over his face, faintly weeping, trying to keep his sadness within his plate. But it was inevitable, even for a knight, to shed tears.

This is the official thread of my book. Here, you can talk about what i plan to do with it. There is another thread on the book, but I wanted this to be fresh.
This is still only a preview thread, I am not going to be writing the book on the forums

Seems to be nice stuff...
But im sure i have encountred the name Galen in some game about farming...

And BTW: Galen means Crazy in swedish

Nice as always! Can't wait to pick it up and show my friend and say,"Hey..I made one paragraph for this book!" and he'll go, "You're crazy, get out of my house!"

Keep up the good work! And remember rewriting is an author's best friend. I rewrote my book The Magic Lands so many times I've lost count. Even now that it's published, I wish I could go back and rewrite it some more

i see u got my pm, and im glad u like it. and this is a bit of a random rumor about JK Rowling : she said that the might be enough leftover from Harry Potter to write an 8th book,i hope so...what do u guys think?

As for an 8th HP book...well, I'd need to see if and how JK ties up all those loose ends in number 7 before eve contemplating an 8th...sounds like it would be some kind of spin-off though if she did continue...I dunno...

I think Rowling just wants to wrap up Harry Potter, move onto something else. Just like LOTR, we never really wanted it to end...but everything must.
