^Exactly, update: Still don't know to much, will talk to my mom more and comfort her/find out what happened, he was concious when they put him in the ambulance. and he made it to the hospital alive.

Is your mother holding up okay? I hope she isn't taking it too badly. She will probably need a shoulder to cry on (not literally in all cases), I hope you all turn out okay from this.

She seems fine, I checked on her about ten minutes ago and she was in bed, texting, she seemed 'fine' I will talk to her when she actually gets up (Night Shift sucks with sleepage)

Thread topic aside, do you think we could behave like vaguely civilised human beings please? And try not to lay into the one person who was trying to avert a thread-flame war - if anything, hobbes_pwn was being mature in his response, so leave off him, ok?

Pirate X - seriously, think before posting. It serves no purpose to try and wind up other members of the forum other than to get yourself into trouble - and if that's your sole aim then I suggest you get yourself a hobby or something.

That sucks man, I don't know why but this reminded me of what happened to a kid that I used to go to school with... His mom died in a car crash when he was 13 and it was a very big deal for everyone since we lived in such a small town, nothing like this usually happened.

I know what i'm about to say is hypocritical and probably shouldn't, but i'm seeing this everywhere on the forum... What you just said Arseface is just keeping that alive, even if you say stop. The initial thing that was said to him should have been enough but someone always has to comment...

My friend was attacked tonight and phased in and out of consciousness, he was backhanded in the temple by a very drunk family member, so **** like that is sorta fresh in my mind.

You guys are hopeless..

I've done a level 2 first aid course, So i know how to deal with that! And cuts.. broken legs.. amputations.. gross stuff..

All you have to do is let them seizure it out, wait 1 minute, if still in it, call the ambulance, make sure you move any objects in the way, Then if they wake up, ask them if its normal of them to have seizures, if not, call ambulance still, do not put anything in their mouth (Like a piece of wood) its a myth, it will not stop you from choking on your tongue or anything, it will actually probably cause you to choke you even more.

He wasn't there. And it was a 30 minute seizure. Please, that's not the right kind of thing for this thread.
