My hope is that EVERY choice affects your future, and that they branch out from the norm usually found in games. A friend of mine gave me an idea, and I thought out how it could work it the fable universe.
Say you had a child (just one). Now say that there is some fiend in the plot that offers you a choice (or a scenario in which you must make this choice). Do you sacrifice your life for your family, or your family for your life? Each path (either married, single, one child, multiple children, etc.) should have a make or break situation like this, the selfless choice obviously earning some major "good" points.
If you sacrifice your family, then you can live on a darker, revengeful path in regret (or not). If you sacrifice your life, then the story changes from your perspective to your child's. He/she could resemble you in some (or every) way. Paintings of the child and parent could be in the child's room. Flashbacks to childhood and convo's with the other parent could reflect your past actions in the game.Then there are quests to recover your fallen parent's items, and inherit the goods that your parent earned. Good points would come through honoring your parent's sacrifice and would start you higher than when you died as the parent. Your attributes wouldn't be a s strong, but a few quests could size you back up.
Some details may clash, but if a fable game had this kind of potential for turning you on your head, then my life would be complete.

...I read snippets of that and it's a good concept but i doubt they would let you kill yourself and become your child...

Yea. I was thinking along the lines of- attempt to save your family against (literally) impossible odds. Then die. But yea, like I said, I thought would be cool to see in a future fable game.
