does anybody know if when you are playing online co-op can you go away from eachother or do you have to stay in the same area ????

i think if its online its diff cuz he said they can run through your game reaking havoc so they can probably run away

I'm fairly sure online co-op will be similar to that of Grand Theft Auto. Which means both players should be able to go wherever they please. I believe it's only couch co-op that you have to stay in the same area.

Then again I could be wrong.

it would be alot better if you can go of eachothers screen. but im gunna only invite people i can trust. Dont want them messing your game up.

I think that the camera stays focused on the owner of the world but that doesn't prevent the guest from wandering off. I thought I also heard that you can summon them back if they've gone too far.

Agreeing with Gortex, the video I have seen shows that when "couch co oping" you have to stay on the same screen with the camera following the host, the one whos world it is. I think that the co op over xbox live would be similar to the GTA, but obviously only one other person in your world. And yes, you must be careful who you invite into your world!

I'd bet money that you'd be able to go anywhere you wish. Personally, as much as I'm really looking forward to playing Fable 2 over Xbox LIVE, I still want to be able to go off and do my own thing (maybe even murder my buddy's family while he's busy elsewhere...)

Wouldnt be much different than the couch co-op if you were restricted to one screen. Kind of takes away the point of having an online mode at all, as people who play online usually dont like Split screen or screen sharing. Just means you can play with the less sociable majority who cant be bothered to come around your house and see you or cant due to an ocean being in the way (lazy so and so's)

Thats what i meant by 'The Fable 2 Version' and not saying Couch Co-op IS Spilt Screen.
