Ode to Converse

Converse-
inside my dark empty shoe
hides my freedom
to walk my walk
and run, run, run!

The smooth stretchy fabric
comforts my feet
protects and guards me
from the danger
that lurks ahead.
No thorns can pierce the skin
of my stone shoe
it is my shield,
my sword,
my feets womb.

As I sink into heaven
my socks feed on my soles
for it is the bottom
the end
of my wonderful Converse.

Ode to Converse
my haven for relaxation
my guardian that shields me
from the worlds wrath.
no thorn can pierce it's armor
for it is a slice of freedom
in a shoeless world.

yeah that's one a wrote a while ago. just one i thought up.not as good as yours and arcs poems though...still trying.

My "poems" are horrible............just things I think of off the top of my head look at my Haikus for example.

White is the color I'd hate to have in my path.

White isn't a color of ease.

I am mently impared
when it comes to math.
White is a color that gleans.
But white is a color we need in our path.

Red is the color of a short fuse.
Red is the color of my music teacher.
Red is the color of me listening ontop of a bleacher.
Red never will try to be better.
But my music teacher is a bed wetter.
