Its possible to be too nice, then people can take advantage of you. But this obviously isn't the situation. Who knows, maybe she had a son/grandson who wanted to work there but she wanted you fired so he could take your job... either that or she was on her period and went psycho... Who knows... O_O

well, maybe by helpful she meant she felt you were pressuring her to buy stuff or something... most places I know have people paid to follow you around the store chasing you about with merchandise practicaly manhandling your wallet out of your pocket and bagging the items faster than you can say "I'm just looking"

I'd like to throw it in that there's actually a lot of people in the world who think all nice people want something from them. I know too many of them It gets really annoying, since I'm sort of a nice guy who happens to be a bit quiet in real life >_<" I really, really hate it, but I suppose if they're ever dangling over a pit of crocodiles I'll just have to avoid helping them up. That would be creepy of me to help, after all.
