As peter announced ... The hero of Fable III will be the son/daughter of your Fable II hero ... But he also said that it would base it on your save game from Fable II .... Does this mean we cannot choose our sex ...

As unlikely as this may be, I just wanted to see if you guys could shed some light on this for me.

Maybe it has something to do with what kids you had in Fable 2

Lets say you only have girls, and because of that you can't choose a male character

I think the hero of fable III is the hero of bowerstones unborn child as seen in see the future. That way you can choose your sex.

it probably means you get to see your fable 2 hero with a receding hairline in a wheelchair with millions of girls/guys (depending on gender) forming a carpet of sex wherever he goes....basically mick jagger

Of course you can choose what gender you want to be.
Just because your fable II hero was a man doesn't suggest he's unable to have a daughter

Besides - what about people who doesn't own Fable II and have no saved game, would they be able to choose? and we wouldn't? - No of course not

Like Cheez said (sort of), I think that when it reads your Fable 2 save, it's just going to be so they know what to make Sparrow look like in Fable 3.

I also agree with the White Knight about the Fable 3 hero being the unborn child of Sparrow.

And I'm assuming that if you don't have a Fable 2 save to go off of when you start a new game on Fable 3, a random hero is generated as Sparrow.

There is no reason to think the sex would be predetermined. The saved game feature can be best described by something Peter Molyneux said "you will inherit your past discretions".

Well thanks to you all for your views ... I honestly didn't think for a second that your would not be able to choose your sex ... But when PM said that it's based on your Fable II save I got a bit worried ....
