I got that GI issue too...it really is a great game. You're able to absorb people, get their skills, and just create pure carnage. For example, if you absorb a helicopter pilot, you'll learn how to ride the blackhawk instantly as if you've just had years of training. There's three sides in this game: Military, the alien-freaks, and you: Prototype, Alex Mercer, a subject of a secret orginization...you now seek redemption for what you've become to hunt down who made you who you are.
You can shoot up spikes from the ground, hitch a ride on helicopters, dozens of explorations around a huge city and combo moves, and everything reacts to what you choose...and the role you play. For example, you might see a huge fight between the military and the aliens...you can pretty much go in there or just watch. The game will have a broad storyline, some storylines your friend might get different than yours. And there's a ton of action.
Some areas will be Military, other Civilian, and even Alien. This game looks great.
