“It’s two, three years ahead of the market,” he said. “People won’t want to replace their entire DVD collections, and they’ll get a better resolution with a standard DVD on an Xbox than a PS3.”

I read that article, he also said the PS3 will not peak until about 2008-2009.

Main problem is, atleast in Sweden, that the games that are released now use far too less of the PS3's potential. So if you wait for a while you'll get the better games and the console itself might've gone down in price - and it is freaking expensive!

My 360 with lots of bonus stuff and two games cost me 4500 SEK - the console of the PS3 alone is 6000-7000 SEK. It is insane.

Most of the games id want for the PS3 i already have for PC, or Xbox 360 or they will be coming to Xbox 360 and PC too. If the PS3 isnt going to peak for years and also not going to have any games on it worth buying over the Xbox 360 versions then i see no need to buy one for quite a while and also price will have dropped dramatically saving me loads of cash.

Xbox to Lead U.S. Market Through 2009

PS3 will have it's day (maybe) but the Microsoft will come out with the Xbox 720 in 2012 or maybe they'll call it the XtraBox

It's all about the games and Xbox is winning that battle. Fable 2 is going to look so much better on the 360 than the PS3 primarily because it won't be on the PS3

In your price comparison it says the Elite Xbox 360 works out cheaper? Is that what its saying as all ive heard recently is people saying how the PS3 works out cheaper and better value for money... does that disprove that theory?
