7 out of 10. 7 because its short for an rpg and because of Peter Molyneux's over hypeing of the game. Good game but a little short but still freaking sweet.

I think a 7.5/10 i would have said 7/10 but they released it fast and added more of what people want. I would rate Fable a 7/10 though...

8/10. There's a lot you can do with the game and it has something that makes you keep coming back to it.

I'd say around 6-7/10 too. Alot of goodies, nice graphics and game play but, and a big but, is that even original Fable story+TLC is over too quickly.

Though the one feature I love is that you can keep on playing after you beat the game, especially if you did the Evil choice after defeating Jack in the TLC boss fight. Sort of makes the game never end, but unfortunately the Fable world is too small to make it amusing for long.

8.5 an overall great game, but could use a lot more to it, like more realism, more destruction, more detail. I seriously ran into one dissapointment after another.

Why be a wizard if you can't have a staff? Or get evil markings for being a Dark Wizard?

Why can you be an assassin, but not sneak up from behind people and assassinate them?

Why can't you be recognised by bandits and foes as an ally, when I'm an evil character?

Why can't I burn the houses of the town? Or destroy the inside?

Why aren't you able to get diseases? Poisonings? Injuries? Curses?

Why does hurting someone not leave any marks, or make them look any weaker? Why is the combat so fake? Why is death so fake?

Why when you die, does it go straight to a game over screen? It could at least have an animation of your hero falling and dying, dramaticly... (Like in Zelda Ocarina of time)

Why is there so freaken little detail put into marriage? And theres like NO romance! No kissing, no hugging. And the whole sex thing is quite a joke. And back then they didn't have protection so how is it you aren't able to have offspring?

These are just mild examples, the game is still good but it seriously could of had tons of many more things to it...

Two of my biggest dissapointments right there. Whisper had a staff. Maze had a real wizardly staff. I want one too!

Yeah, we really need sort of a backstabbing attack in Fable 2...and a better sneak system.

Yeah, we really need sort of a backstabbing attack in Fable 2...and a better sneak system.

I suggested in my Fable 2 ideas thread, an assassinate skill. Walking up to someone with sneak, press X and you come up from behind and slit their throat, similiar to the attack to stab someone downward when they're on the ground and stunned.

I agree about the assassin sneak attack and the mage staff idea. I give it
a 8.5 out of ten though because there aren't that many games like it.
