oblivion, elder scrolls ?/10 I've just gotten out of the dungeons (right at the begining) I'm a bit confussed and the confussion is making me mad with the game, don't know if to stick it out or trade it in!
I've been trying to play Assassins Creed. I'm kinda like Skorms Boss, I'm just at the beginning of the game, and very confused. I don't know how to rate it yet, either.
Just went and got myself Fable pup games, at ****ing last i hear you cry, yes it took me a while to pre order but i've done it.
I found it quite hard and annoying as all the games are sheer luck, especially the spinner-box, kinda gets on my tits (figure of speech, i don't have none) sooo ill say
6/10
Anyway, while i was there i grabbed KUF COD, sounds like a fishing game, no its not. But yeh good game so far, mad and hectic like. The online co op is cool as well, some nice people helped me out and gave me some nice stuff!!
Sorry! I enjoy reviewing so this is a tad comprehensive! -- please excuse spelling mistakes and bad grammar etc
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (X360) 8/10
Warning, this is a spoiler!
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (X360)
A memorable game for me.
I can't for certain say why, whether it was the gripping story, the massive amount of interactivity between yourself, the environment and your enemies or challenging Sith Master difficulty. But, this is a game that I will be replaying.
The initial story while simple in its premise (Apprentice to the Dark Lord Darth Vader in an attempt to Destroy the Emperor), expands wonderfully and in ways that outclass the original Hextuple movie ventures, boasting tremendous voice acting to make a player feel right inside a blockbuster rather than a video game.
While the combat and enemies tend to remain fairly repetitive the game keeps the hordes that you dispatch fresh with the wonderful array of Sith/Jedi abilities that you are free to abuse, Force Push sends a wave of energy at an enemy which can send them soaring into any number of environmental hazards, Sith Lightning...does what it says on the tin ZAP and Force Grip is possibly one of the more fun abilities you get, allowing you to pick of almost anything (incl. Tie Fighters if there is one around) and throw it at your foe, which is particularly fun when you pick up a small R2 droid and launch them through a Space Station Window to suck all your nearby foes into the cold of space
As mentioned above the story is fantastic, even leaving the final choice of foe up to you, should you choose redemption or revenge? As you progress you 'level up' which allows you small tokens to spend on new abilities, combos or passive powers (ie. increasing your max health or how fast your Force energy regenerates) which is a nice feature!
One final thing I will say, is that this game completely changed my views on Vader...mainly because I HATED him. in the Original Trilogy he held no 'looming sense of doom' for me, infact he was a laughable character, however after the prologue and Story elements that are shown in Force Unleashed my views were changed...this game makes Vader a very bada$$ character and its a nice thing to finally see in the fella
If you are a fan of the series you will enjoy this new exploit which plays the way ALL Star Wars games should be played, with full access to all the juicy Jedi and Lightsaber moves that every fan is gagging for! But if you’re new to the series this is still a deep and fun action game with oodles of destructive capabilities - thank you Force Powers
8/10A fantastic but short lived game, but for an Achievement junkie you will need a few playthroughs under your belt for the more difficult to reach achievements.
Now this is a great game, but i cant help to feel that its just too short. The levels don't seem to have much creative ism and the flood just plain annoy me. Although the legendary mode makes the game longer and more challenging, I am NOT a big fan of dying every 33 seconds. It'd be a 9 if i had live and 10 if it was longer.
Fifa 09. 8/10. Improved gameplay. Weak editing system. Still, its the best football game out there. Also just played GT5 prologue on PS3. 6/10 It's so realistic that it's boring. Developers be warned, we only like so much realism.
Since we're on the topic I'd like to include gaming consoles. My Xbox 360 10/10 and my PS3 9/10. Xbox totally kicks ass in terms of live game-play and the choice of games added with achievements to compare with friends. Playstation is a technical masterpiece let down by crap exclusives and a ten-year-old controller. Great for films though with it's Blue-ray player.
