[Rumor] Achievements To Be Transfered Over to Next Xbox.

Via the guys over at CVG, it appears that players will be able transfer their Xbox 360 Achievements onto the next Xbox console (entitled as the 720 by the 360 community) sometime in the future (as stated in the latest issue in Game Informer magazine). Though the next Xbox console is a long ways away from greeting us all, this addition should please all of those who shed some sweat earning their Gamerscore. However, alot can change in between now and the release of the next Xbox console, but with something as addictive as Gamerscores & Achievements, it seems very doubtful that Microsoft would not allow Achievement transfers.

Id say it would be a certainty and would be very surprised if people couldnt transfer their gamerscores over.

Gamerscore and achivements are important weapons in the console war. Not making them transferable would be like pointing the weapon at their own foot and pulling the trigger.

Here's hoping that the next Xbox (Xbox 3? Xbox 720?) will carry over all the Xbox 360's achievements. It took me absolutely ages to unlock some of the achievements on some of my games and I would hate to lose them!
