i wander how they are going to achieve this, i mean if you ever seen the movie, its all about toturing people. Its sick. I just saw this and made me laugh. cant imagine that anyone is going to buy this

The game, based on the gruesome movies, has a scheduled release of October 2009. More than likely this is to accompany the next SAW movie – already in production.
The game is running on the Unreal Engine 3. This leads us to believe that the game could be for either the Xbox 360 or PS3 or both.
Brash Entertainment is a young publisher who’s focus is on movie licensed games only. Yup. That just screams winner, right? Details are still slim, but we know the game will involve situations from all of the previous SAW movies.

I would imagine it being strange but maybe you would play a role of a police officer trying to solve the case, etc. Like Condemned or something.

Depends how they did it, the story would make an interesting game but hope it doesnt follow 98% of movie tie in games and suck.

Yeah, the game wouldn't even make it pass the ESRB if they had you playing the role of Jigsaw, like Amanda stated, you'd probably just play the role of some Cop trying to stop Jigsaw.

Im a huge saw fanatic so Id buy it in a heartbeat. But then again Saw 4 sucked so Im kind of looking for something to redeem it. Also its not so much about torturing people, more of a Hostile premise, Jigsaw wants people to survive and have a better appreciation for the lives they are wasting. Sorry, SAW nerd in me had to say that . I'd imagine you'd take the role of a victim or victims in some more elaborate trap (see SAW 2 and 3 for references). It would be a full blown puzzle game sprinkled with gore, at least thats how I would imagine it.

It would only rock if you could be Jigsaw and build crazy things to kill people with. Sorta like a dark and evil version of The Sims.

A SAW game? How disturbing. I never was quite a fan of the films, and I never really had the stomach for them, but this could be interesting...in some weird, scary way.
