I have heard that sacrificing the good henchman in front of the temple of avo at midnight gets you the bow automatically. Is this true?

Do you not mean the Chapel Of Skorm but if you secrifice the henchman in the camp at midnight you will get it as long as you save it so you can try again if you dont get
