Snow and rain don't fall

Hello everyone!
I've got a strange bug related to weather effects on my 8800GT: when it rains, I can only see splatters on the ground, but rain doesn't fall, rain sprites are hanging in the air. Same thing with snow effect, snowflakes are stuck in the air.
P.S.: drivers are up-to-date.

Did you make sure you deleted any saves and cleared the registry of all Fable related files?

As far as im aware to do a fresh install yes.

OK, I'll try to reinstall with erasing all saved games, but it will take enough time to reach the first raining location(

Thanks to all, driver update from 175.16 to 175.19 did the trick

I wonder why nvidia solved this issue only in the latest drivers, considering that Fable TLC is a 3 years old game.

Nvidia has always had problems with software updates involving the internal firmaware of games (softwares) i have always had problems with my card but hey its best
