I was sitting on my butt at school (University of Maryland) in the oh-so-wunnerful student union using the free wifi for the most important use of all-- visitiing projectego.net.

So I'm sitting here looking at crap, I lean back to stretch and glance over to my left. Another guy is sitting there on his computer looking at Fable II screenshots. Not from projectego, I think, but still, it was an entertaining coincidence.

Yeah. Fable II is so loved at Maryland. I actually heard someone else talking about it a couple days agom too.

Three blokes in the autoparts shop near town were discussing COD4 a little while ago when I went in with my vehiclelly-challenged friend to replace her wipers. From what they were saying I don't think any of them had actually ever played it but they were each trying to outdo each other by saying something more incredible than the next...when they got to the part about driving tanks all over Osama Bin Laden (who apparently, in their version, appears all over the shop) I think even they weren't entirely sure of what they were saying...

I would have, but I had just finished downing a 32 oz Mountain Dew and there was a certain... urgency for my relocating to someplace with tile floors and a lot of sinks. I only saw his screen as I was standing up to go.
