4chan was DDoS'd through an extensive botnet put together from a virus being spread on 4chan itself.

The cancer that is killing /b/ is in fact 4chan.

Anyway, it's down and will likely be down for a while.

Article on the previous DDoS attack on 4chan by 4chan. moot put up warnings and such, telling people straight up not to touch anything suspect, but the thought of seeing Miley Cyrus in the nude was too tempting for them I guess.

Around 80% of people ive had to give infractions to or ban on forums have also been registered on 4chan. Says a lot about their forum attitude and ways of communications. They begin to think that the way they can be on there is an acceptable way to communicate on forums when in reality its only acceptable to victims of experimental cranial drill intrusion surgery.
