Sony letting us down...again

Yuppers, that's right folks - apparently the PS3 will be released in Europe with limited backwards compatibility and less powerful hardware. But guess what? We still get the heftiest price tag and the longest wait for it.

Why am i not surprised in the slightest, i heard rumours about this a while ago but thought Sony would be fools to give us an even rawer deal than the one we are getting anyway. Seems Sonys ignorance and selfishness knows no bounds, thanks a lot Sony way to please your loyal European fans!

Exactly - they screw us with the release date, they screw us with the hardware and now I might not even be able to play my beloved Crash games and GTA...

I don't think Sony recognise Europe as a valuable market as much as they do America and Japan...if they did, they wouldn't mess us about so much...

Remember a time they were saying we're amongst the most loyal Sony gamers and Playstation fans... i think they have alienated a lot of those fans and made them jump ship and its nothing less than they deserve!

Thanks for posting about this article, Sharon. It's just a shame that GameSpot only had more bad news to report to us regarding the upcoming Playstation 3. I was really looking forward to playing some of my older-gen titles on the PS3; I wasn't expecting this at all.

A shame....a true shame about both the PS2 and PS3 really. The original Playstation was such a....epic classic....

I dont hate sony as they bring us some quality games and ive had alot of fun on their consoles over the years but the way us European gamers have been treated as of late with delays and expensive products is nothing short of shocking.
