Sony Settles Vibration Dispute, Rumble Coming Back?

After the massive bust up between Sony and the makers of the Dual Shock rumble feature and the big cover up by Sony denying all claims and such it seems that the dispute is over and Sony have paid 'Immersion' (the makers) mega money settlement deal to come back and bring the 'rumble' feature back.

Immersion's CEO has already stated that a technical proposal for rumble PS3 controllers will be made very soon.

Immersion originally sued Sony for $97.2 million for patent infringement, which Sony quickly appealed. To continue selling PS2 accessories, Sony paid Immersion $30.6 million, but left the vibrating feature out of the PS3 controller claiming that the rumble feature would not work with a motion sensing controller, which may or may not be true (but sounds like a lot of BS to me). So what happens if they do re-release the Sixaxis?

They realised they had made a massive mistake by losing this feature and had no choice but to bring it back cant help but laugh at their signs of desperation.

If they do bring this feature back then it just shows that they are full of crap..

I remember when they said the reason they didn't have it was because it wasn't a needed feature and that gaming was moving away from that.

But alas they knew they needed it... go xBoXx360! or Wii!

Worst thing was the cover story that it wouldnt work with motion sensor which was a load of crap! They should have told the truth from the start!
