i posted this before, and i think i stopped replying to it and it closed lol.... but the dialogue randomly mutes off sometimes when im face to face with the character, for example, in the beginning of the game, Brom is talking and when the camera goes to his face, the sound cuts out and i cant hear a thing.... ive tried turning up all my volume in the audio options, but that didnt work, i also uninstalled and reinstalled....didnt work either -.-. So u guys are my only hope basically.... lol i have a Creative SB Live! Series sound card... not sure if its a drivers issue or what, but ive tried downloading drivers and it keeps saying it cant detect that i have the Creative SB Live! Series soundcard.... sry for such a long explanation i really hope u guys can help

I suggest getting a new sound card or search the internet/Microsoft's/Apple's/sound cards website for more information.

Try downloading latest drivers for your sound card, i believe they are found here:

Fable has some issues with Creative Sound Cards from what i have heard.

ah..... guess what? it was really simple... i went into the little volume thing in the bottom right side of the screen, right clicked it, hit "adjust audio properties", went into advanced speaker settings and found out it was set at 5.1 surround sound speakers... -.- so i changed it back to desktop stereo speakers and everything worked fine!...dang im stupid.... lol btw, i have windows xp

Problem solved eh? Not often one thinks it is a simple error such at that, hehe. I sure as hell didn't.
