Thanks for the heads up, id wondered why they sent so many PM's to people. Have you got any examples of what they send?

Yeah, I keep getting those same gallery spammers. They always spam at my pictures called: "Violence Is Bad" in the FF8 section... and "Real & Vincent" in the Ergo Proxy section. It's always a paragraph of pornographic adverts or sexual aid products.

In fact, they're there now.

That guy buddha has sent a whole lotta messages on these boards...at least it's more annoying than anything else. Better an ad for buddhism than a clip of two guys banging a panda or whatever...

I got curious about that account some time ago and wondered why they sent so many PM's to people in such a short space of time.

Spammers are spammers, they have no other existence than to send useless and quite irrelevant things to people who don't want them. I figure it's the after-effect of some form of radioactive fallout and now they must do this so they don't give up all hope for themselves. Whatever gives them purpose.

General rule is : If in doubt, don't try it out. If you don't know the source of any email, link or other such stuff, then don't take a chance and have a go anyway. More than likely it will be something stupid, disgusting or illegal and whilst you're sitting there trying not to go blind at the sight of it all, your computer has been invaded by viruses.

Only accept links/downloads etc from a trusted source unless you know exactly who and what has been sent to you.
