SPOILERS can theresa be the next villian?

There are several hints throughout Fable II that Theresa conceals a much darker nature than she lets on, and that she may be a potential antagonist in the future.

Lucien brings the main character and his/her sister to his castle after hearing from someone that they've successfully activated the music box. Since the seller claimed it was simply a wish granting magic box, Theresa is the only person who could have known that the children purchased and activated an old kingdom artifact.

After becoming aware of Sister Hannah's vows of pacifism, Theresa mentions that she will need to find a reason for Hannah to fight. Lucien becomes aware of Hannah's location and his henchman kill her father almost immediately after this.

When the player passes by the ruins of Oakvale, Theresa tells the player the story of a former villager who made a deal the forces of shadow that took the lives of every other villager as payment. Since the nearby Shadow kings grant immortality in exchange for the lives of others, her story would explain how she's managed to live 500 years. Though she refers to the villager as male, she might simply be concealing her involvement.

After gathering the the four heroes and "activating" the spire power within them, Theresa vanishes. Lucien then appears from nowhere and acts completely non-concerned with Theresa's absence. When asked how he found their location he states, "I listened."

After Lucien's death, Theresa gives the player the reward of his choice and then ominously states: "...but the spire is mine, begone." After which the player has no further contact with her.

I came across this trying to see if theresa was the same throughout the two games

some of the bullets are obvious but the oakvale bullet intrigues me

Actually the Oakvale "incident" was actually caused by

and if you buy his House after you finish the Game he explains his choice in the Magical Diary pages he leaves scattered around his house and seeing as when he meets

Also Theresa sounds remorseful when talking about

so i really don't think that point is viable

And for the first point if you read

i don't think that is coincidence

I'm going to mull over the other points before i develop counter-thesises to those but i think this is a great topic to be discussed although you might have wanted to not put the spoiler in the thread Title.....

I agree, it was definitely Reaver who cause the second destruction of Oakvale.

(OFFTOPIC) Anyone else like the last boss right *you know not doing nothing* not to mention the most ferocious bloody powerful weapon in the game is something my young sister plays with in her spare time.

Shame on you PM ... (patch in a new coolies add on quest boss and the best wep like some uber sword)

Dude Lucien was already alerted about the Box from the Guards it says so in one of his Journal pages... or hints to it i can't really remember and also she knew what Lucien was Planning from Day 1 so she had to do everything in her power to stop Him from acheiveing his Goal and if that meant sacrificing Rose and The Abbot then i doubt that would have stopped her.....

Also about the Theresa Disappearing when Lucien Shows up on Hero Hill, Lucien had Men Everywhere searching for the 4 heroes so i doubt his agent's were going to go:

"Oh look Hero hill is emitting a mass amount of power lets just not inform Lucien about that and go on our merry business of looking for those Heroes shall we?"

sounds a bit silly once you think about it and i Doubt Theresa wanted to get into a brawl with 6 commandants and Lucien.... she isn't as good as the Hero(ine) in terms of being a Hero. Well i don't think so at least... because if she could have Beaten Lucien herself don't you think she would have?

(although if all it took was a single shot i don't know why Theresa didn't just shoot him..... although that would mean everything that happened in Fable 2 would be pointless.... but at least the problem would be resolved right?........)

It's more likely she'll be the boss if they do the Lost Chapters thing to Fable II.
It seemed more like she wanted Lucien to finish rebuilding the spire, then take it from him, rather than actually stop him sooner.

A little point about Reaver, pointing out another point to lead him to the downfall of Oakvale. During your escape with him in the tunnel he makes a comment about sleeping with someone or whatever (Not importent) but says off handedly "That was almost over 200 years ago". So we know he is at least 200 years old. Certainly think he is the one who 'blew up' Oakvale.

He SO needs to die in the next game, or some DLC content. I'll take the evil hit just to end him.

Agreed, and it might just be me, isn't he kind of short for being the Hero of Skill? I mean Hammer is big with the strength, Garth has the will lines.. And Reaver is just well.. Annoying.

I tried to get reaver killed when you come out of the hidden tunnel.. when all the guys are fighting you .. reaver and hammer i helped hammer but reaver was on his own.

Meh Oakvale was overated anyway and if you buy Reaver's Mansion after you beat Lucien and search through his House the Oakvale incident will be explained!!!! i swear!!!!
