It doesn't really. technically they're never called "Dreadwings" in the game. That's just what their coding calls them. at least I'VE never heard them called Dreadwings

Haha, no you're not my silly little friend. It is Fable's coding that is very confusing - alot of things got code names that differs a whole lot from what they really are.

For example the Legendary Weapon "Orkon's Club" is called something like Object_Guard_Club - would be scary to see every Guard armed with that!

I "think" it is in the Northren Wastes somewhere, in a chest. If I recall correctly, it is fairly well hidden.

Actually, the name Dreadwings is in the game, sorta. If you read Creatures of Albion Book I, you get a little insight into their story.

Mindless, attacking animals bred by the old Kingdom wall-guards for attacking intruders, minions are keen to rip the flesh of anything in their way. The only thing they fear are their masters and the bigger, more powerful minions known as Dreadwings.
