I found this amazing little beauty when I was asking around about Oblivion. This is System Requirements Lab and what it does is it downloads your PC components stats and tells you if you meet the minimum or recomended requirements for any game currently on the market.

I tend to use sisoft sandra to measure my perf but this isnt a bad bit of kit. Still I live by the maxim if i cant run it at full or nearly full I need new parts.

wow thanks but it keeps saying all the things that my video card isn't good enough i tried halo ce it said fail and i have already played it on my computer i don't think it's correct is it?

Just a ball park idea not an exact science. It might run if you fail on some things but not very well at all if you fail on multiple.
