Another company trying to take its first steps into the MMO market?

I don't think Civ needs to become a Mumorpegeh (in the words of Yatzee ) as there is already an extensive online system already in place, and I must say, I've gotten over the novelty that it brings to the table.
I haven't played enough of Bioshock to respond intelligently to that call.
To honest what isn't an MMO these days. Warcraft LOTR all sorts have sold out and now Bioshock is.
MMO's are the best selling genres these days and attract the most players worldwide so in the sense of business and sales most games will think about MMO's. Although i have to admit im not a fan of MMO games.
I still don't honestly think they're actually planning on doing it. It's got more to do with the whole EA buyout thing...They're showing shareholders "Stuff We Could Do Ourselves If We Really Just Wanted To".
